Dream Work Online Course
A three-part interactive journey into the world of dreams, teaching you the foundational skills to decipher their meaning and messages. Suitable for psychotherapists and dream-interested participants.
Drawing on Jungian and transpersonal psychology, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to working with your personal dreams and those of your clients (if you are a therapist). We will bring dream to life through dream-entry and active imagination, so as to unfold their meaning and message and you will learn how to use dreams for personal growth and spiritual development. This course encourages participants to develop a deeper connection to the archetypal realm, the inner wisdom of the soul and enhances creativity.
This Course is suitable for:
- Qualified and trainee psychotherapists wanting to integrate dream work into their therapy practice.
- Therapists and counsellors interested in exploring Jungian, depth, or transpersonal approaches.
- Anyone interested in understanding and working with their own dreams for personal growth and spiritual development.
Format:
3 live interactive webinars (via Zoom) with Q & A and facilitator’s live demonstration of working in depth with a dream submitted by a participant. Recordings will be made available to participants. Handouts provided.
Course Overview:
Webinar One:
- Introduction to Jungian principles (ego, unconscious, archetypes).
- Different lenses through which to examine and understand a dream.
- The practice of dream incubation.
- The practice of active imagination and role of creativty and embodiment in psychological healing.
- Facilitator live demonstration of dream work with a dream submitted by a participant.
Webinar Two:
- Introduction to alchemical symbolism in dreams and in the therapy process (part one).
- Experiential: Participants practice active imagination techniques (with images from dreams and/or waking life).
- Facilitator live demonstration of dream work with a dream submitted by a participant.
Webinar Three:
- Alchemical symbolism (part two).
- Facilitator live demonstration of dream work with a dream submitted by a participant.
- Experiential: Participants practice working with each others dreams (or those of a client with prior permission) with facilitator support and guidance.

Participants who complete the course are invited to join our online community of dream workers in our Dream Work Meets - monthly experiential online sessions via Zoom in which to practice and further develop skills in dream work. See below for details.
DreamWork Meets ~ A Monthly Online Dream Work Group
We meet once a month on Zoom (Tuesdays from 6–8pm). Each session begins with a live dreamwork demonstration by the facilitator, using a dream offered by one of the group members, where you can experience creative imagination techniques and dream re-entry in action. This is followed by Q&A, group feedback and further collaborative exploration of that dream.
Participants then have the opportunity to work with each other’s dreams or those of their clients (with consent). Active participation is encouraged through group feedback, whether or not you’re presenting a dream or acting as dream guide. Guidance and support for those with little or no prior experience of dream work will be provided.
Each session typically explores 2 to 3 dreams. This is a closed and confidential group, creating a safe space for sharing personal and client material.
